3DEO, a Los Angeles-based provider of design, engineering and metal additive manufacturing (AM) solutions, has announced the appointment of Scott Dennis as the company’s new CEO, succeeding Matt Petros, the company’s cofounder and former CEO. This leadership transition marks a new chapter for 3DEO as the company continues its trajectory of rapid growth and innovation in the AM industry.
Petros, who will remain a significant shareholder in 3DEO, said: “3DEO has always been about pushing the boundaries of what is possible in manufacturing. Dennis brings a wealth of experience to 3DEO, having previously cofounded and served as CEO of D&K Engineering, a product realization services company that successfully developed and manufactured a wide variety of products across the printing, industrial and life science sectors. With a strong background in mechanical and biomedical engineering, as well as a successful track record in product realization, Dennis has consistently demonstrated his ability to reduce the risks associated with bringing breakthrough products to market. At D&K Engineering, Dennis led the company’s growth into a global organization, known for its disciplined approach to engineering and manufacturing, particularly in high-innovation content and hardwarebased products.
