KUKA Robotics offers its latest in robotic welding with the debut of the new KR 5 Arc R1400. The KR 5 Arc R1400 has a compact design, low weight, speed, high repeatability and a reach of 1,400 mm. It is suited for close cell concepts. Accompanying the KR 5 arc R1400's space saving efforts is the utilization of the new small size KRC4 controller measuring 550 mm in width and 4,185 mm in height. KUKA also offers its KR 6 R900 sixx, suited for loading blanks into a cutting station. The KUKA KR 16 can utilize an ESAB PowerCut 1300 Plasm- Arc cutting package to cut shapes. The KR 6 AGILUS robot can also move items into position for the KR5-2 arc HW to weld it. The Swift Arc ML robotic cell is comprised of the ESAB Welding & Cutting Products Aristo U5000i power source, KUKA KR 6 900 robot and KR C4 Controller. This complete work cell is economically configured for education. It can be delivered ready for use; simply hook up the input power, gas and wire to begin welding. Another advanced robotic plasma cutting cell provides the flexibility to automatically cut or " cope" branch pipes, cut trunk pipes (with or without bevel), and cut to length, suited for job shops introducing robotics to their applications. It features a KR 16 HW and a KR C4 Controller. The KR 10 R1100 AGILUS can be interfaced with a two-axis positioner and 20 kW QCW IPG laser doing laser drilling. The KR AGILUS KR 6 R700 can be configured for industrial technologies such as laser cutting, waterjet cutting, polishing and de-burring.
