TRUMPF has introduced two new options within the TruLaser 1030 product line, empowering fabricators to choose the model that is the perfect fit for their preferences and respective business requirements, the company said. Initially available with the TruCoax 2000 diffusion cooled RF laser resonator, the TruLaser 1030 has expanded to include the TruLaser 1030 fiber with TruDisk 2001 featuring 2.0 kW of solid state laser power and the TruLaser 1030with TruCoax 2500, featuring 2.5 kWof power. “While the TruLaser 1030, in whatever version a fabricator chooses, features the benefits of TRUMPF technology at a low price, we now provide manufacturers options within that product line,” said Stefan Schreiber, Product Manager. The TruLaser 1030, designed and built in the United States, is designed to provide fabricators with a cost effective and productive laser cutting system in a small footprint. It requires half of the floor space of a typical 5 x 10 foot machine. The TruLaser 1030 fiber is available with a TruDisk 2001 solid state laser. With 2 kW of laser power, the TruLaser 1030 fiber has specific application when cutting thin gauge sheet metal and reflective materials. Besides 25% more laser power, the benefits of the TruLaser 1030 with Tru- Coax 2500 include the new style RF generator integrated in the machine cabinet, which replaces the tube generator in the original model. The higher laser power results in cutting speed increases that average 20%. In addition, the new RF Generator reduces maintenance costs. “We have taken a unique machine and made it even more so by offering fabricators the ability to choose the Tru- Laser 1030 that best fits their wants and needswhile continuing to offer our customers the utmost in efficiency, productivity and safety,” said Schreiber.
