Four-Roll Angle and Shape Bending Rolls with capacities up to and including 4” x 4” x 1/2” have been added to the lines of angle rolls, plate rolls and other metal fabricating machines supplied by Sahinler Metal Makina. “These new rolls address the needs of fabricators for more controlled and therefore more accurate bending capabilities. Because of the geometry of the rolls positions and according to the work at hand, each machine can be used as a pyramid roll, 3-roll initialpinch or double-pinch roll, or 4-roll double-pinch roll and even as a press,” said a COLE-TUVE spokesperson. The mountable outboard supports for the shafts keep deflection to a minimumwhen under heavy load or when accuracy of bend is required. Using the lower roll as a support roll allows light and thinner shapes to be bent without distortion or being crushed. Substituting special rolls for the lower rolls, for example for bending structural material the hard way, adds to the advantages of this type of machine.
