Okuma America Corporation’s 2SP- 250H horizontal CNC lathe is designed to provide automation-friendly machining for high-volume, small parts. The 2SP-250H is intended to provide easy operation by moving the spindle off to the side and incorporating the Okuma Gantry Loader (OGL) into the production line, where parts can be loaded and unloaded automatically. According to Okuma, the thermo friendly concept provides accurate and stable machining even for production lines. The 2SP-250H features a maximum turning diameter of Ø250 mm and an 18.5/15 kW spindle motor. The machine also features a compact footprint with frontage of 2,300 mm.
