Attendees at the recent Hyundai- Wia International Exposition, HINEX, held at the company headquarters in Changwon, South Korea, saw demonstrated 30 machines under power at Hyundia-Wia’s exposition hall. The new models demonstrated were: LM3000MTTS, Hi-MOLD750/5A, i- CUT320M Value Master, F500 Value Master and HS5000 Value Master. Turning centers on display were: KIT200, E160LC, KIT400, E200A, L230LMSA.Multi-tasking turning centers: LM1800TTSY, LM2500TTSY, L250SY. Vertical/large turning centers: L700LMA, LV800RM, LV1100RM, LV1400, LS320, LS200. Verticalmachining centers: F500D, F600D, F960B, F750B, Hi-MOLD560/5A, F500, F510B, F660M. Horizontal machining centers: HS4000, KH630, KH1000, KBN135C. Tapping centers: i-CUT380T, i- CUT380M, i-CUT380MD. Factory automation: WH50TFR, WH50TFC, WH63TM. Attendees of HINEX also participated in the Grand Opening of a new Hyundai-Wia 75,000 sq. ft. Manufacturing facility that will be used for spindle assembly and the production of Hyundai-Wia machinery. Distributors and customers were given tours of the Hyundai-Wia campus seeing Hyundai-Wia’s manufacturing and assembly facilities. An extended tour was taken by U.S. distributors and customers of several Hyundai- Wia manufacturing facilities in South Korea where automotive components, engines, transmissions, CV joints and other products aremanufactured.
