Okuma America Corporation’s Larry Schwartz hasmoved to the position of Chief Strategy Officer and Jim King has been promoted to the position of President and Chief Operating Officer. Themove allowsMr. Schwartz to remain a vital part of the Okuma leadership team, provide strategic support to the corporation and allow Mr. King to take responsibility for the dayto- day operations of the business. Mr. King joined Okuma in January, 2010 as Senior Vice President of Sales, and his 30 years of experienceworking in industrial markets, automation and control software allowed him to quickly understand the machine tool industry and the needs of the Okuma customers.
