Expanded Sales Territory Parlec has awarded Hi-Speed Cor-poration six additional states in addition to its West Coast sales and service terri-tory. Specifically, Hi-Speed Corporation will now provide Parlec manufacturing technology solutions in Utah, Idaho, Wyoming, Montana, Colorado and New Mexico, in addition to Southern California, Washington, Oregon and Arizona. “Parlec solutions are extensive and have contributed to process improve-ments in leading aerospace, automotive and general engineering organizations,” said Jonathan Saada, Hi-Speed Corp. Continued on Page 5 Mazak Announces Major Expansion of North American Manufacturing Plant Mazak Corporation has announced that it will significantly expand the com-pany’s North American manufacturing plant in Florence, KY. This expansion will allow for increased production and support of new and additional Mazak machine models in Kentucky and in-crease the facility’s potential production capacity to 200 machines per month to meet customer demands. Completion of the expansion is set for the Fall of 2013, and Mazak will host a special com-memoration event at that time.
