Over 130 visitors toured Southwestern Industries’ new showroom, located at its corporate headquarters, during a two-day open house held in early October. Visitors were treated to tours of the 130,000 sq. ft. Facility, were provided lunch and dinner and witnessed numerous demonstrations of TRAKlathes , bed mills, knee mils and Southwestern Industries’ latest product offering, the LPM machining center. TRAKp roducts are designed to increase productivity in small lot machining, and contain Southwestern Industries’ ProtoTRAK CNC technology that utilizes a conversational language designed to reduce time consuming set-ups, enable lower skill Level machinists to do higher level work and allow skilled machinists to get more done.
