The Ganesh VFM-10039 features travels of 98.4” in X, 39.3” in Y and 35.4” in the Z-axis, with 39.3” optional.
The 12,000 RPM 35 HP direct drive in-line #40 taper spindle has rigid tapping and a thermostatically controlled spindle oil cooler. A #50-taper spindle is optional. The BIG Plus dual contact precision ground Ganesh spindle is built for rigidity, reduced tool runout, increased tool life and greater cutting capability, along with enhanced tool length repeatability.
‘The machine uses roller bearing guideways in all three axes providing nearly twice the rigidity of ball bearing ways for enhanced cutting performance,” said the company spokesperson. The Yaxis is supported by four heavy-duty roller bearing ways for cutting performance. A 4-second tool changing 40-tool twin-arm chain-drive ATC is provided.
The standard Mitsubishi M720 control with Super Smooth Surface control is designed for enhanced surface finish and processes 64,000 blocks per minute with 680 block look-ahead by using a high efficiency ultra-highspeed 64-bit fiber-optic backplane. The Ganesh CNC vertical milling Machine line starts at 24” x 16” goes up to 100” in X and 39” in Y. Ganesh Machinery also produces multitasking CNC lathes with 1-1/4” to 3” bar capacity.
