The company uti-lizes the Renishaw XL80 laser system as well as the QC20-W ballbar systems. MTT was founded in 1998 in Hous-ton, TX. Since then it has expanded its ca-pabilities and in 2005 began utilizing the Renishaw ML10 laser and QC10 ball sys-tems. In 2009 all of the calibration tools were upgraded to include the XL80 laser system, RX10 rotary axis checker and five QC20-W Ballbar systems. In 2013 MTT became an authorized distributor and in-tegrator of Renishaw products.
