Columbia Marking Tools (CMT) is taking demonstrations of its marking systems to customers’ facilities again in 2013, touring the countrywith a 40-foot showroom on wheels. The air-conditioned trailer lets visitors walk through to see and try a variety of CMT marking technologies, followed by light refreshments. The line-up includes: • I-Mark dot peen systems - I-Series (Integrator) and M-Series (Moderate production) • I-Mark C-Series high-speed dot peen/ scribe system • Cognex 2-D UID code reading system • Eco-Mark laser marking station • HandyAndy bench top dot peenmarker • Roll marker • Air impact marker • Stamps and dies in a variety of shapes and sizes. “Since it is not convenient for every marking system user to visit us in Michigan or attend a trade show where we are exhibiting, we are taking our technologies to them,” said Michelle Krembel, CMT President. CMT is currently scheduling appearances of the mobile exhibit at customer locations, making one or two stops a day.
