Okuma’s 2SP-150H horizontal twin spindle lathe offers high metal removal rates in a small space and is suitable for small part CNC machining. The userfriendly front facing spindles allow easy and fast access to the workpiece and tooling. By adding a high-speed 3-axis Okuma gantry loader, parts can be loaded and unloaded automatically. The dual spindles and gantry loader reduce cycle time and maximize productivity.
The integral bed and base, cross slide, headstock, tailstock and turret form a balanced rigid structure. Robust ball screws generate slideway movement to both axes. The 2SP-150H is equipped with a 6” or 8” chuck and optional 6,000 RPM spindle speed for increased flexibility. Okuma’s Intelligent Technology Thermo-Friendly Concept is a standard feature and achieves enhanced thermal stability and accuracy.
The 2SP-150H has no machine obstructions so chips fall directly onto a perforated chip pan, allowing coolant to flow in to the coolant tank. An optional lift-up chip conveyor is available for large machining jobs.

• Drive 3-axis servo (XYZ)
• Working range X: 2,558 mm (100.71”) (beam over both ends)
• Working range YZ: 500 x 210 mm (19.69” x 8.27”)
• Rapid traverse (XYZ) 150 x 120 x 55 m/min (492 x 394 x 180 FPM)
• Hands 3-jaw chuck; jaw stroke: ø30 mm (1.18”).
For larger turning diameter work, up to 250 mm, this configuration is also available as the 2SP-250H.
