The unit incorporates quartz encapsulated heating elements, which open and close to encircle work pieces with instant radiant heat at temperatures up to 1,500 degrees F (815 degrees C). No R.F. interference is generated with the Glo- Rings and they are suitable for use in clean rooms and testing areas. The Glo-Ring is designed to be a suitable alternative to a heat gun.
