FANUC CNC America Corporation officially changed its name to FANUC FA America Corporation, effective September 1, 2010. FANUC FA America Corporation represents the FA (Factory Automation) division o f FANUC Ltd. Japan. At IMTS 2010, a new corporate FANUC company symbol was also unveiled in the Americas. The new symbol was created to represent the three major Divisions of FANUC Ltd. Japan: FA (Factory Automation), RO (Robot) and RM (RoboMachine). The dedicated focus of FANUC in each of these three product divisions will help FANUC to continue to expand its position in factory automation solutions globally.
