Hyundai WIA will hold a North East Technology Expo to highlight its latest technology introduced to the metalworkingmanufacturing industry. The eventwill be held at Hyundai WIA America’s headquarters in Carlstadt, NJ, on April 9-11. Hours of the exposition on April 9 and 10 are 10 AM to 7 PM and on April 11 from 10 AM to 3 PM. Nine Hyundai WIA CNC machines will be under power for live demonstrations including the F500D dual pallet vertical machining center; LV1100 large capacity VTL; L2100SY multi-tasking lathe with Y-axis, subspindle and live tooling; and the HS4000 high speed horizontalmachining center. Seminars will be held covering the following subjects: • Quick Change Workholding - Live demonstration of Hainbuch’s centroteX workholding system on a Hyundai WIA l210 lathe. • Productivity Through Technology • How to Justify Multi-Tasking • Factory Automation - The Hyundai (Automotive)Way. Hyundai WIA Productivity Partners will also have displays of the new technology the companies have introduced. The exhibits will be by Kennametal, Koma Precision, LNS bar feeders and chip conveyors and Hainbuch workholding. Attendees will be able to see the Michal Waltrip Racing stock car #56 driven by Martin Truex Jr. Lunch wi l l be served each day with evening receptions on April 9 and 10. A drawing will be held to give away VIP passes to the Pocono NASCAR Sprint Cup Race this summer.
