Kennametal’s Knowledge Center will bring its Regional Metalcutting Application Course to South Texas. The two-day seminar will cover a broad range of topics for the selection and use of metalcutting tools. The course is to be divided into four sections: mechanics of metalcutting, materials technology, selection and application, and machining economics. In-depth coverage of each will be provided, from basics to troubleshooting. Presentations are lecturestyle, and attendees are furnished with text materials on the topics presented. The two-day training seminars are held throughout North America, and are designed to provide state-of-the-art information to the working engineer, machinists, programmers and other metalcutting professionals involved in tool management, tool selection, process optimization, CNC programming and trouble-shooting.
