The Quick Change series of toolholders from Carmex Precision Tools feature a polygon shank for improved gripping capability. Developed to ISO standard 26623 for toolholding systems, the polygon taper helps ensure automatic radial centering and even pressure around the coupling. The 1.4° tapered polygon shank is designed to be interchangeable with most leading manufacturers. Quick Change toolholders are available for both external and internal threading applications in a full range of metric sizes and feature internal coolant bores. Both configurations are available for either 16mm(3/8” i.c.) or 22 mm (1/2” i.c.) thread turning inserts.
