MC Machinery Systems, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Mitsubishi Corp., and its distributor, C4 Industrial, recently hosted an Open House event at C4 Industrial's Dallas location.
Event attendees learned from application engineers the latest ZOOM FIBER technology from Mitsubishi Laser. Demonstrations of press brake products and general machining products such as Drilling /Tapping machines, vertical machining centers and turning equipment were all on view.
Additional technology on display distributed by C4 Industrial included technology from AKS Cutting Systems, United Robotics, Costa Metal Polishing and Finishing and Faccin Plate Roll.
Machine features demonstrated were::
• Mitsubishi Electric ML3015eX-F60 fiber laser machine with 6 kW eX-F zoom head that can control the size of the beam and focus input
• Mitsubishi Diamond BB4013 electric ball screw press brake, driven by an AC Servomotor and ball screw drive mechanism and has a repeatability of + / - 1 micron
• MC Machinery DENER Diamond Elite XL hydraulic press brake designed with Finite Element CAD and 15" color touch screen Windows CNC control with 2D graphics
• MC Machinery MCV-1000 VMC with 8,000 RPM spindle and Mitsubish i M70-V series control with NAVI-MILL M on board programming and a 337 block look ahead
• MC M achinery LT-520 lathe w ith a chuck size capacity of 10", a 3" bar capacity and live tooling for secondary operations.
Additional technology displayed at the open house includes:
• STEM Robotics Mobile Education Cell by United Robotics, featuring a Yaskawa Moto man MH 5 5 M robot equipped with welder.
• Costa MD Series fully customizable deburring and finishing machine for use in wet or dry process grinding, slag and burr removal, oxide removal, edge rounding, graining and polishing Goran Racic, Application
• AKS accu-kut CNC plasma cutter with cutting widths from 6' to 10' and up to 48' in length. The machine is integrated with Hypertherm's SureCut technology which is designed to maximize cutting performance by automatically applying optimized cutting process parameters to simplify cutting and reduce operator intervention by utilizing Hypertherm's power supply, lifter, controller and software
• AKS water-kut X3 waterjet cutting machine capable of cutting materials from foam and rubber to titanium and Inconel and equipped with Mitsubishi CNC controller, motors, drives and components.
"As manufacturing in the Southwest continues to strengthen, now is the time to learn about the latest manufacturing technology. At this event, we hope to show case w hat MC Machinery has to offer customers in terms of both its technology and application know ledge," said an MC Machinery spokesperson.
