Tecnara Tooling Systems is introducing the Aoi Seiko MISTCAPTURE, an oil mist capture solution designed for a range of manufacturing environments, at IMTS. "The multi-filter MISTCAPTURE with patent-pending impeller design can be fine-tuned for virtually every application," said a Tecnara spokesperson. "The primary cartridge box can be optimized with combinations of main filters. In most installations, all mist and mist-borne particulates are separated out at this primary stage. The available main filtration system includes collision plate, louver, accumulator, washable filters and non-washable filters. "For special situations where fine mist is present, an ultra-efficient post filter provides additional filtration. "The MISTCAPTURE is designed for easy maintenance. Regular maintenance can be performed without removing the duct hose from the suction port. The main filter is housed in an accessible cartridge that enables quick filter replacement. Filters can be replaced from either side of the system." To facilitate servicing, the compact MISTCAPTURE is designed for floor installation. The air intake may be located as far as 25 feet from the system. Temperature range is up to 60-degrees C (140-degrees F) at the intake plate. "With lightweight construction and compact design, MISTCAPTURE is suitable for a variety of applications, including machining centers, lathes and multi-task machines.
